It is getting juicy!

Rocking up in my high vis jacket, pass and Primark wellies I feel totally cool- NOT!

I am loving everything about my role right now but seriously those who are  COMPLETELY fashion conscious should never apply for this position...leered on by my builder foreigners when you are only dressed in black jeans, massive jumper and bright yellow waistcoat doesn't seem right but afraid so you still get those wolf whistles!

Starting to feel extremely Christmassy - you should all make your way down to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland this year - seriously! Get in touch and I may JUST MAY be able to sort you something out!

Who else is a massive fan of xmas but doesn't want to spend it with their family?!"

Jen - over and out xx

Halloweeeen!

Evening y'al

So...Harry Potter, Spider, Witch, Batman, a Mummy - oh it was quite funny watching those so cringy walk of shame homes sat morn! So c'mon how did you celebrate it? Like me realising you still love the festive / American the shit out of day or just feel the pressure?

Any excuse to dress up and I am all over it! So Halloween - completely upset with the fact there wasn't much going as in no house parties or gatherings I decided to cave and meet some new newbies (you know me - can't resit chatting to randoms) whilst out with my glorified dead playboy Bunnie at our local. A total mix of those embracing the holiday and those just out - I did and didn't feel totally out of place but the shots this randomer got me were enough to sedate any anxiety feelings!

There doesn't seem to be so much to this blog post but there are 2 fold...a) I am intriged to see who actually like celebrating Halloween or any chance to dress up like me? and b) opinions on peer pressure on something like this...

Slightly boring post sorry

Over and out

P.s i Did just consume an entire jar of Peanut Butter - fatty!

Is it ok to be single in you mid – late twenties?

‘So any men on the scene at the moment?’ Sound familiar? Well maybe not if you are one of those lucky individuals who have already found the love of their lives but to us single-tons, this is a question that seems to take priority in most conversation these days and to be honest it’s starting to f*** me off.

Drowning in dating apps and online websites, it has come to my attention that whilst many people are struggling and desperate to find their other halves but it could actually be having a reverse effect and making people think that they should be in a relationship otherwise something is wrong with you.

Just because I don’t have a plus 1 to take to my cousin’s wedding or I am the only one at a dinner party without a boyfriend / fiancĂ© doesn’t mean that I am lonely or unhappy – and even if  I was unhappy why should that be directly related to being single? Everything keeps coming back to this one question – am I not allowed to be single?

Whilst I am not opposed to having a boyfriend or to be dating a couple of decent guys, at the moment I have quite enough to deal with than the pressures of dating or restrictions of being in a relationship - I am working all hours of the day to get a job I love which won’t change when I get it, I love working out and don’t really want to swap my spin classes just yet for lazy mornings in bed with the bf because I am just happy doing what I want when I want.

So what’s with the pressure, even if the question is put into light-hearted small talk – there always seems to be an underlying opinion but quite honestly sometimes it’s none of their business and if there is someone then don’t you think I would have told you?

Yet, it is still interesting to wonder if we are moving into an era where it isn’t as OK to be single anymore and that matching websites initially created to add another platform to meet people are beginning to become an overload and add to the everyday pressures we feel in life.

Even I am happy am I not allowed to be single?
